It wasn’t a sprinter and it wasn’t that huge wagon thing. It was like a van but not huge, looked sleek. I think it was this thing. I don’t think the US dealers have it. Been a lot of Canadian cars around here for shows lately, didn’t see it’s plate. I saw a Nova Scotia Porsche Turbo today.

Yup, I was a black one in Manhattan a couple months ago. Surprised me because I thought it was a Viano, which they don’t sell here.

Yeah it must be, but I think it was like the one in my pic, seemed sleeker in the front. Your pic looks like the new Merc design language, the one in my pic looks very earlier 2000s Merc, like a CL front.

My local dealer has at least 20 of these things on the lot in a kind of cool nonmetallic beige color. They look pretty cool, I think. It’s nice to see a new Mercedes with unfinished plastic bumpers.

That name makes me chuckle. I picture the Mercedes Marketing guys scratching their heads to come up with a name for the new van.
Dude 1: So its a comfortable and classy van that can fit a piano....well not a grand piano, but still one of them larger ones. Ya know?
Dude 2: So Pianoan, Piavan, Vaniano, Viano...
Dude 1: Stop! That’s it!

Yep, Metris for sure. They are popping up all over in Canada. Is the States not getting them? I worked for MB Canada up until a few months ago and they are pretty nice vans. Canadian MSRP starts around $37k but I have yet to see a passenger configuration for under $47k. o_O

If it’s that exact one, Mercedes Viano. Reverse Google image search for the win ;)

If it was slightly smaller it could have been the B-Class . Not sure if they were sold in Canada, but they may have been.

That’s interesting b/c I did a Google image search and it came up with Mercedes Vito as the most likely answer.
That said, since the Viano is supposed to basically be an upscale Vito, I think (if it looked like the image in the header) it was probably a Viano

Both are Nice looking vans.

I just know I saw a Merc star, it was a fairly small van with a sliding door and the front angle was sharp and angled down steeply like this. I’m pretty sure this is what it was.
